We’re onto the 15th and final story in Accused Season 1. The good news is there will be more stories about people doing bad things—or getting framed for them—and facing the courts. We get to see the grey area of the actions people take and decisions people make again soon.

For now, we’re focused on the final episode of the season. Keith Carradine stars as Billy in the episode, an aging rock star who is on trial for what seems to be murder. Is it murder, though? What has he done, and how will the trial turn out?

The promo gives us a basic idea of what Billy’s story is going to be. He wants to help his son, who is a drug addict trying to get clean. When his son admits that he doesn’t think he can “do it,” Billy and his wife seem to take matters into their own hands. However, it also looks like things go terribly wrong.

The synopsis gives us a little more detail about what Billy is trying to do at the time of the crime. He wants to cement his legacy, but it looks like things are going to work out very differently than he intended.

It also tells us that he wants to help his son. That’s a pretty standard storyline when it comes to these shows. We’ve seen parents do things to save their children, including one mom take the fall for her son to protect him from prison. Will Billy decide to take the fall for his son to protect him?
