Snowpiercer Season 4 will not premiere in May 2023

If there is one series we’ve patiently waited for, it’s Snowpiercer. When will Snowpiercer Season 4 premiere, and where will it air?

It has been a long wait for the final season of Snowpiercer. It’s been all that much harder by hearing that TNT won’t air this final season. This is despite the series being fully filmed. It doesn’t make a lot of sense, but there’s a lot that Warner Bros. and Discovery have done since their merger that doesn’t make sense.

So now, we’re on the look out for anything new about the dystopian series. Does it even have a new home yet? When could we expect to see the show, since we definitely won’t see it in May 2023?

When will Snowpiercer Season 4 premiere?

There isn’t anything new to report just yet. Tomorrow Studios is still shopping the show around, trying to find a home for the final season. It is possible that it could end up on one of the ad-supported streamers such as Roku or Freevee. That’s the way a lot of content on HBO went after shows were abruptly canceled despite being filmed. Just look at The Nevers Season 1, Part 2.

It doesn’t look like Netflix is going to become the U.S. home. That is despite the series remaining on the streamer internationally. There is a chance that the series will still air on Netflix internationally once it finds a new U.S. home. You see, the series is still going to be on Netflix internationally until at least March 2032. It would just make a lot of sense to move it to Netflix in the U.S.!

For now, Season 3 will need to work as the finale. It does work when you consider the storyline. We have hope that Layton and his followers are able to restart life on Earth while Melanie and her crew survive for the next seven years or so. Maybe Melanie will find a way to keep the train going for longer.
