There are just two episodes left of SWAT on CBS. Here are all the SWAT spoilers you need for Season 6, Episode 21.

We got some terrible news over the weekend. SWAT is officially canceled after six seasons. Of course, nobody is happy about that, especially due to the reasoning behind the cancellation. It all comes down to the license fee CBS doesn’t want to pay Sony.

Update: CBS has reversed the cancellation decision.

So, we have just two episodes left of SWAT, and they are a two-part series finale. The bad news is there’s likely a cliffhanger with some unresolved storylines because this wasn’t intended as a series finale.

It’s time to delve into what to expect in the first of the two episodes airing on Friday, May 12.

SWAT spoilers: 6×21 promo

The promo gives us a brief look at what to expect in the episode. The team will need to work together to deal with a gang on the streets. This doesn’t seem all that different to a lot of other storylines when you consider how many gangs and cartels the team has had to deal with.

SWAT spoilers: 6×21 synopsis

The synopsis goes into a few more details about the case. Hondo and his team will not be working alone. They will work with the DEA, with Mack Boyle leading the whole group. Timothy Hutton guest stars as Boyle in the episode. They’re working together on a gang sweep only to learn that a cartel is looking to plant roots in the city.

As for a personal storyline, it’s all about Hicks. He is going to mark some sort of important anniversary.

"SWAT teams up with the DEA, led by Mack Boyle (guest star Timothy Hutton), to conduct a massive gang sweep, only to discover that a vicious cartel is planting roots in the city and endangering numerous lives. Also, Hicks (Patrick St. Esprit) marks an important anniversary."
