Accused Season 2 will not premiere in May 2023
We know Accused Season 2 is definitely happening. When could we see the second season premiere on FOX? Here’s what we know so far.
One thing we do know about the anthology series is that there will be more. FOX renewed Accused last month, and now we’re just waiting to see what the stories will be. Like previous stories, they are not likely to be based on anything real but they could be inspired by true stories.
The bad news is we won’t get to see the series just yet. The season will definitely not premiere in May 2023. That won’t be surprising to most people as the first season has only just come to an end, and now we’re going into the routine summer hiatus.
When will Accused Season 2 premiere on FOX?
As of right now, FOX has not made a decision about its fall schedule. That is going to come very soon, which is when we’ll find out if this series is moving to the fall or if it will remain part of the midseason lineup.
There is something else to factor in when it comes to the show’s premiere date. It’s all about this WGA writers strike currently happening. If this goes into the next month, which it certainly could, then we’re looking at a delay to the fall shows. This could push the usual September premiere dates into October or November. We could see FOX do something similar to what it did during the pandemic and push the fall schedule fully to the midseason.
We’ll know more as the strike continues. There are no signs of anyone budging just yet, so we’ll just have to play all of this by ear.
Accused is available to stream on Hulu.
