The latest episode of Law & Order: Organized Crime brought back a favorite SVU cop in Amanda Rollins. But her new development has fans wondering if actress Kelli Giddish might be pregnant as well. Find out more in this investigation!

A Season 15 episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit had the squad investigating a “rainbow party” of high school students. Hearing what they were up to had Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish) declaring, “I’m never having kids.” It turned out she was tempting fate.

When Giddish became pregnant in 2015, the SVU writers wrote it into the show by having Rollins be pregnant from a one-night stand with cop Declan Murphy (Donal Logue). Rollins would give birth to a girl. When Giddish was pregnant again in 2018, it was once more written in with Rollins giving birth to a second daughter but deciding not to be with the father.

The show would soon have Rollins in a relationship with Carisi (Peter Scanavino) and the pair were married mid-way through Season 24. That was the final episode for Giddish as Rollins quit the NYPD to take a job as a college professor.

In the last Law & Order: Organized Crime, Stabler (Christopher Meloni) reached out to Rollins to help on a case. Rollins admitted she loved the students but missed the thrill of cracking cases. She was also heavily pregnant withCarisi’s’ child, which Carisi couldn’t help bragging about.

Is Kelli Giddish expecting in Law & Order?

Given Giddish’s last two pregnancies were written into the show, it’s natural for fans to wonder if the actress is expecting again. So far, there’s no word from Giddish on being pregnant in real life. The actress was married to Lawrence Falbourn, the father of her two sons, but they divorced in 2018. Giddish later married Beau Richards in 2021.

The actress was shown on set wearing the baby bump of Rollins, so it’s possible the writers thought it would be fun to show Rollins and Carisi already starting a big family. While it’s possible Giddish is keeping a new pregnancy quiet for now, at the moment it looks like, for once, Giddish is only faking a pregnancy on screen for her Giddish character.
