Blue Bloods Season 14 will not premiere on CBS in May 2023

Blue Bloods has come to an end for another season, and now all eyes are on the 14th season. When will the premiere air on CBS?

We are ready to see more Reagan family dinners. The bad news is we have a bit of a wait on our hands. The 13th season came to an end last night, Friday, May 19. The good news is Blue Bloods Season 14 will happen, but we’re not going to see it just yet.

CBS doesn’t premiere big shows in May. This is the time for the summer programming with the show coming back in the fall. So, it’s really not that surprising to hear that there will be no new episodes right now.

And yes, we know that the series will return in the fall on Friday nights. Nothing is changing about this time slot.

When will Blue Bloods Season 14 premiere on CBS?

Right now, CBS has only confirmed the fall schedule. We know the show will remain on Fridays at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

So, when can we expect it? Usually, we would say in the final two weeks of September, but there are a lot of questions about the show’s return now. It’s all about the WGA writers strike. Should this go on into June, it will push back writing and that pushes back filming, post-production, and the premiere date.

We’ll get to know more in the coming weeks. We’re keeping a close eye on the strike to see when the writers will get back to work—although, we only want that if there is a good and fair deal for the writers.
