NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 is not coming to CBS in May 2023
As shows come to an end for another season, all eyes are on when they will return. When will NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 premiere on CBS?
It’s that time of year again. Our favorite shows are going off the air for their summer hiatuses. This happens every year for a variety of reasons, with one of them being the live ratings. We want to spend time outside and not in the house watching TV this time of year.
That does mean NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 will not premiere just yet. Yes, this season is happening, but not for a while. When can we expect to see the characters to return?
When will NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 premiere on CBS?
Don’t expect the show for a few more months. CBS has confirmed that NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 is part of the fall schedule. It will remain on Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT. CBS is clearly happy with the way the ratings are going for the series for now.
So, when in the fall will it return? We don’t usually get the exact date until June or July, but usually, we say the last couple of weeks of September. However, this year is working very differently due to the writers strike.
There is a chance that the strike will continue into June and even July. The writers aren’t going to return to work until they secure a fair deal, and that is going to take time. It could mean that production and post-production are pushed back, and that’s going to affect the return date for the show.
CBS is planning for a fall return, though. It could be something a little like the pandemic, where the return happens a little later in the fall, but there is an intention to bring the show back in 2023.
NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 will return in fall 2023. Catch up on the series on Paramount+.
