Jane Tennant was saved thanks to a certain LA agent stepping in. Now all eyes are on what’s to come next in NCIS: Hawaii. Will there be a new episode tonight to find out?

We went into the previous episode of NCIS: Hawaii with some concerns about Jane Tennant. How would the team get her out of her current situation. Well, it turned out that Sam Hana was around and willing to help.

The end of the episode saw Maggie get away. Now the team will need to hunt her down. Will we see that happen this week? There is some bad news. There is not a new episode of NCIS: Hawaii on tonight, Monday, May 29.

When will a new episode of NCIS: Hawaii air on CBS?

There is even more bad news. There isn’t going to be a new episode for a while. The previous episode was the Season 2 finale, and now the wait is on for NCIS: Hawaii Season 3. At least we know that’s happening.

CBS has decided to keep the show on Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT. It will be in the fall schedule, which usually means that it will get a September premiere date. That’s not likely to happen this year. The writers strike is causing delays everywhere, and we’re sure to see production start up late. That will push premiere dates back.

When Season 3 does return, there’s a new agent coming into the team. LL Cool J didn’t just have a surprise cameo for the finale. After previously sharing that he would be interested in joining the Hawaii-set series, that’s what is happening. LL Cool J’s Sam Hana will join the Hawaii team in Season 3. He will have a recurring guest role, according to Deadline.

NCIS: Hawaii is available to stream on Paramount+.
