NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 will not premiere on CBS in June 2023
As much as we would love to see it happen, the NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 premiere will not arrive in June 2023. When can we expect it on CBS?
We would very much love to see a new episode of NCIS: Hawaii already. That’s especially the case knowing that LL Cool J is coming into this series. The bad news is that it’s not happening just yet.
The previous episode that aired was the Season 2 finale. We’re into the summer hiatus, and we know that this is going to be a long one. CBS isn’t going to premiere a new season of a hit show this time of year even if it was ready. This is when the linear ratings take a nosedive as people are outside enjoying the good weather.
When will NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 premiere on CBS?
So, when can we expect a new season to arrive? How long until we get to see Sam Hana help out Tennant and her team more? This is where we have a lot of bad news.
While NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 is on the fall schedule, CBS hasn’t set any dates yet. Usually, we would save September 2023, but that’s not likely to be the case. The writers strike is still going, and it shows no signs of slowing down. The studios simply aren’t working with each other to bring a deal to the writers.
While that happens, no scripts are being written. That means production can’t start, and it means the seasons can’t premiere on the networks. ABC already has the worst-case scenario planned out. It will bring an unscripted fall schedule and then the scripted shows will return in 2024. Could we end up seeing that happen on CBS? It is highly likely at this point.
NCIS: Hawaii is available to stream on Paramount+.
