The wait for Blue Bloods Season 14 is on. The summer break is here, and all eyes are on when the show will premiere on CBS.

The Blue Bloods Season 13 brought us some familiar faces back. Of course, we missed Joe Hill too, but look at the number of characters who did make a return in the finale. Like may other seasons, it’s clear that this was planned to work as a series finale if necessary, but that wasn’t necessary in the end.

We will get a 14th season of the series. There’s a chance that the show will get to that milestone 15th year, which seems to be the hope of many. We just need to get through this season first, and it’s set to be a difficult one to get through. There are going to be delays.

When will Blue Bloods Season 14 premiere on CBS?

We just knew that the season wouldn’t arrive this month. CBS doesn’t bring new seasons of big shows this time of year. The ratings see a big decline, so it would be too much risk for the shows.

The good news is that CBS has set the fall schedule and the Tom Selleck series is on the list. It will remain on Fridays at 10 p.m. ET/PT following SWAT and Fire Country. However, we can’t say that September or October 2023 is when it will premiere.

The writers are on strike. There are no scripts, so production can’t start. Then there’s the chance SAG will call a strike in July. This could push production even further back, and it’s not looking like there’s even close to negotiations at this point. So, we could have to wait until 2024 for the cop drama.
