In some good news, SWAT Season 7 is definitely happening. In some bad news, the series will not arrive on CBS this month. When can we expect it?

At one point, we didn’t even think that SWAT Season 7 would happen. The show was canceled by CBS, and then there was a U-turn just days later. CBS decided to bring in a final season with just 13 episodes.

So, now we’re ready to see how the story will come to an end. There are a lot of stories to cover, including Zoe finding out that the son she gave up for adoption was interested in meeting her. We’re sure to see how that plays out in the final season, but we don’t get to see it just yet. It won’t be surprising to many that SWAT Season 7 is not going to premiere in June.

Even if there wasn’t the cancellation and then U-turn, there is no way that CBS would premiere one of its bigger shows this time of year. The shows go into their summer breaks, and we have to wait until at least the fall for the shows to return.

When will SWAT Season 7 premiere on CBS?

How long is this wait going to be? When CBS announced its fall schedule, there was some good news. This series will remain on Fridays at 8 p.m. ET/PT in the fall. Now comes the bad news.

Usually, we would say the final would air at the end of September or start of October. That likely isn’t going to happen this year. The writers are on strike, so there are no episodes ready to film. If the actors go on strike in July, there won’t be anyone available to work. July is when shows need to start filming to be ready for the fall, so it looks like we’re in for a big delay.
