CSI: Vegas Season 3 is not coming to CBS in June 2023
CSI: Vegas has been renewed for another season. Now we’re waiting for that season to arrive. When will CSI: Vegas Season 3 premiere on CBS?
In some great news, CSI fans learned that the revival is still going. CSI: Vegas Season 3 is officially happening. It’s not clear whether everyone is returning and whether we’ll get more of Greg Sanders or not, but we will get more episodes of the crime drama.
Now for the bad news. We won’t get to see episodes just yet. This is not a show premiering this month, which shouldn’t be all that surprising. The broadcast networks keep their big scripted dramas for the fall at the earliest. The summer months see a big decline in the linear ratings.
When will CSI: Vegas Season 3 premiere on CBS?
Now for some more bad news. CBS announced its fall schedule and this series is not on the list. Thursday nights are now being taken over by the new series Elsbeth. It is an unusual move but it looks like CBS things So Help Me Todd fans will really enjoy the new series.
CSI: Vegas is moving to Sundays but not right away. Sundays are taken up by the football, and it can make for some late nights in the fall. Instead of putting a show on the line, CBS is opting for only The Equalizer and the new Matlock to air on Sundays in the fall.
CSI: Vegas Season 3 will premiere in 2024. It’s not clear when just yet. We’ll find that out closer to the time. The good news in all this is that a 2024 premiere date shouldn’t be affected by the writers strike. We should see the writers back to work in time for filming to start for a January start. This does depend on all production studios actually talking to each other and coming up with a deal for the writers to look at.
CSI: Vegas is available to stream on Paramount+.
