Fans of Blue Bloods were happy to learn the show had gotten a renewal for Season 14 on CBS. Now, find out when Season 13 hits DVD this August to enjoy another fun ride with the Reagans!

Season 13 had a dramatic opening as Jamie (Will Estes) was shot while on an assignment. This led him to take on a new job with an Intelligence branch of the NYPD. Meanwhile, Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) aided partner Baez (Maria Ramirez) with her new child amid the usual tough cases. Eddie (Vanessa Ray) got a new partner to handle her own cases while Erin (Bridget Moynahan) wrestled with whether or not to run for District Attorney. Through it all, Frank (Tom Selleck) handled the tricky politics of the NYPD and the public.

Season 13 had some good guest stars with Dylan Walsh as Mayor Chase; Selleck’s old Magnum P.I. co-star Larry Manetti as a witness to a crime; Stacy Keach as Archbishop Kearns; and the return of Jennifer Esposito as Danny’s former partner Jackie Curatola. It also has what will sadly be the final appearance by the late Treat Williams as Frank’s old friend Lenny Ross.

So when does this season arrive on DVD?

The six-disc set arrives in stores on Aug. 29, 2023. It will contain all 21 episodes of Season 13 and some nice extras. They include deleted scenes and a gag reel along with the usual “The Story of the Reagans” which is an overview of the entire season. There is also “The Legacy of Joe Reagan,” a short feature talking about the impact of the late cop and how it affects the family through their son Joe Hill.

With a date set, Blue Bloods fans can prepare to add another season to their collection to keep enjoying the adventures of the Reagans.
