Once again, there isn’t a promo for the new episode. It’s clear that the promos aren’t needed to keep the fans tuning in. That’s not surprising. It’s the final season of a long-running show. The fans are going to turn up to see how it all ends.
In a way, the lack of promo has been great. It’s helped to cut out the risk of major spoilers. After all, there have been some amazing returns this season, and we wouldn’t have wanted any of them spoiled.

The good thing about the synopsis is that it gives us an idea of what to expect. Red will attempt to mediate between two rival families. That’s pretty normal for Red. There are times that he wants criminals to get along, usually for his own gain.
However, this mediation isn’t going to go as planned. Someone ends up dead, and of course, the rival families are sure to blame each other. It wasn’t the families, though. There’s an elusive criminal linked to this incident.
Now that Red is in danger because of the events, the Task Force will need to get to the bottom of it all. Not only do they need to save Red, but also the families he’s been working with.
