We would love nothing more than to catch up with the New York team already. When will FBI Season 6 premiere on CBS if it’s not in July?

There was some good news at the end of the FBI Season 5 finale. Despite initially having to choose between mother and baby, the worst outcome didn’t happen. Both Nina and the baby made it through surgery, and Scola became a new father. We’re excited to see what this means for his character in the new season.

The bad news is we won’t get to see that happen just yet. FBI Season 6 will not premiere in July. That’s not too surprising to those who have watched broadcast shows for some time n ow. We tend to see a break this time of year as the linear ratings take a dive. The shows are usually back at the start of fall.

When will FBI Season 6 premiere on CBS?

This year is going to be a little different, though. While CBS has decided that FBI will be in the fall schedule, the fall schedule probably won’t start at the same time as normal. It’s not clear if CBS will rejig things during the summer or if we’re just going to get some staggered starts as we did during the pandemic year.

FBI is set to kick off the Tuesday FBI dramas in the fall. The writers are still on strike, though. That’s pushing back production start dates, which means the premiere start dates will also be pushed back. If we’re all honest, we knew this was going to happen. The production studios aren’t talking to each other to set a plan to put forward to the writers. And the writers aren’t going back to work until they get a fair deal.
