We are ready to see Stabler and his team back in business. When will Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4 premiere on NBC?
In some disappointing but unsurprising news, Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4 is not on the list of shows coming to NBC this month. It’s the summer. We don’t see the big shows arrive on NBC this time of year.
This is when the live ratings take a downward turn. The broadcast networks put on cheaper shows to counter the lower ad revenue they get. But we only have to wait until the fall for the show’s return, right?
When will Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4 premiere on NBC?
This is where we have some disappointing news. The series will not arrive on NBC this year at all. The third season is being held until 2024, and it’s not fully linked to the writers strike.
The season is going to be shorter than the last. It will only have 13 episodes, so a midseason start makes sense. The other Law & Order shows were set to have 18 to 20 episodes, but they are likely to be cut shorter now due to the writers strike. Organized Crime shouldn’t be affected because of the previous plan.
This is all for budget reasons. The shows are expensive, but they are also some of NBC’s strongest. To keep them going, reduced episode counts were needed. Other shows will see characters missing for episodes here and there—except SVU, which will see Benson in every episode as normal. Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4 won’t be affected with characters because the episode count is already reduced.
However, we don’t have a date for the show’s return yet. We’ll probably get to know that closer to the end of the year.
Law & Order: Organized Crime is available to stream on Peacock.
