McCall’s friends are in a dangerous situation, and we need to see if anyone will get out alive. When will The Equalizer Season 4 premiere on CBS?
We know that the summer isn’t the time for the big shows on broadcast networks. It would be a death sentence for a lot of shows to air them this time of year. The linear ratings take a dive and advertisers don’t pay as much for slots as they do in the regular season. So, there was no way that CBS would bring The Equalizer back right now even if it could.
That doesn’t stop us from looking out for signs that the show is coming back soon. McCall was left watching as a fire burned toward her tied-up friends. Is there a chance that Dante, Mel, and Harry will get out of their current situation? It doesn’t seem like it’s possible, meaning Michelle could end up getting revenge.
When will The Equalizer Season 4 come to CBS?
We have a bit of a wait on our hands. The Equalizer Season 4 is currently stuck in the writers strike downtime. Until the writers get back to work (and that shouldn’t happen until there is a fair deal), then there are no scripts to film. That’s going to push the production start date back, which then pushes the premiere date back.
CBS wants this show back in the fall. It’s only a matter of time before it has to be pushed to the midseason at this rate. This is one long strike.
We could see some staggered starts this fall like in the pandemic. However, that’s going to cause more disruption for a lot of shows. CBS may want to look at what ABC is doing and opt for an unscripted fall and bring all the scripted shows back together in 2024.
The Equalizer is available to stream on Paramount+.
