We are more than ready to see Jane and her team back in action. When will NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 premiere on CBS? Will it be in 2023?

We are in that pesky summer period. All our favorite shows are taking some time off, and we need to wait until at least the fall for their return. Well, usually, we’d just need to wait for the fall.

Things are going to be very different this year. Most shows will not be back in September, as usual. There’s a strike on, and that is affecting everything in production right now. Does it mean just a month or two to wait, or will we need to wait until 2024 for our favorite shows to return? What’s the plan for NCIS: Hawaii Season 3?

When will NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 premiere on CBS?

CBS wants to bring the show back as soon as possible. Considering its success on the network so far, that’s not surprising. During the Upfronts, CBS announced that NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 would remain on Mondays at 10 p.m. It follows new episodes of the flagship NCIS series.

Now for some bad news. While usually, that would mean a September start, it’s not happening this year. Production needed to start in July for a September start, and that isn’t going to happen. Instead, we’re waiting until November at the earliest.

There is still a chance that we’ll get a 2023 premiere date. This all depends on when everyone goes back to work, and how long it will take to get the first episodes completed. By that point, though, CBS could have a strike-proof fall, and may not have the room to bring us episodes of the crime drama. At that point, we may need to wait until 2024.

NCIS: Hawaii is available to stream on Paramount+.
