Is Accused Season 2 coming to FOX in 2023?
We are more than ready to see more stories of the flawed justice system. When will Accused Season 2 premiere on FOX? Will it happen in 2023?
Accused certainly brought to light the many failings in the justice and healthcare systems in the United States. It touched on systemic racism, our bias when it comes to cases, and how mental health needs to be prioritized.
The series is based on the British series of the same name. Each episode follows a different person standing trial. Some are guilty, while others definitely are not. From start to finish, we not only find out if they’ll be found guilty or not, but we also get to find out what they did or the truth of the actual events that the courts don’t always get to see or hear about.
The good news is the series has been renewed. Now we just need to know when we’ll get to watch Accused Season 2. Is this a series that will be back this year?
When will Accused Season 2 premiere on FOX?
As of right now, FOX hasn’t set its fall schedule. This is for the second year in a row, but not for the same reason. it’s all linked to the writers strike, which FOX worried would end up delaying the fall premieres. ABC also worried about the same and set up a strike-proof schedule.
Well, the premiere dates are certainly going to be delayed. For how long is anyone’s guess right now.
This was also a series that was a midseason release in the 2022-2023 season. It is possible that FOX always planned to hold Accused Season 2 for the midseason. That would suggest a January 2024 premiere date at the earliest, but we’ll need to see how things work out with the strike action.
