CSI: Vegas Season 2 DVD release date confirmed for August 2023

CSI: Vegas Season 2 had a wild set of storylines that led to a stunning finale. Now, a DVD release date has been set, but when does it come out?

CSI: Vegas made a bold return to CBS in 2021, mixing the original cast of the long-running hit with some new faces. Season 2 had the departure of William Peterson as Gil Grissom and Jorja Fox as Sara Sidle. However, it featured the return of Marg Helgenberger as original CSI tech Catherine Willows.

Also returning for Season 2 were Paula Newsome as Maxine Roby, the head of the lab; Matt Lauria as Josh Folsom, chief investigator; Mandeep Dhillion as Ahalya “Allie” Rajan; and Jay Lee as Chris Park. New for Season 2 was Ariana Guerra as Detective Serena Chavez and Lex Medlin as Beau Finado, a former millionaire turned CSI tech.

The season was notable for mixing various story arcs, the first of which had Catherine investigating the disappearance of a young casino worker. There was also the season-long arc of a mysterious figure sending silver notes amid murders that led the team through some turns. The finale had Folsom facing a difficult loss that drove him to a dark action.

That was a good season, and CBS has renewed the show for Season 3, which is delayed due to the ongoing strikes in Hollywood. So when does CSI: Vegas Season 2 hit DVD?

CSI: Vegas Season 2 DVD release date

Season 2 is set to be released on DVD on Tuesday, Aug. 22. The five-disc set will have all 21 Season 2 episodes. It’s likely to carry a few extras, such as deleted scenes, although unsure if it will also have any bonus features. The Season 1 set, for example, had a featurette on the return of the series. It looks like it may only be available on DVD rather than on Blu-ray.

While CSI: Vegas fans aren’t happy about the long wait before Season 3 premieres, at least having Season 2 on DVD will tide them over until the techs return.
