If you’re looking for something new to watch during the summer, you’ll need to turn to BritBox. Granite Harbour Season 1 will arrive very soon.

Eyes are certainly on something new to watch. The summer months are hard enough without the strike action. With writers and actors on strike, we don’t even have any teases of what to expect when shows return in the fall. Our favorite scripted dramas aren’t coming back this fall.

So, we need to find something else to watch. The good news is streaming platforms have our backs, and platforms like BritBox will continue to bring new content. It is packed with British content, which isn’t affected by the strike action.

Granite Harbour Season 1 release date

One of the shows arriving this summer is Granite Harbour. The three-part series has already aired in the UK. It ran throughout December 2022. Now eyes are on when it will arrive on BritBox for North Americans to watch it.

All three episodes will arrive on Tuesday, Aug. 1. That’s this Tuesday!

Yes, all three episodes will drop at once. While BritBox tends to release some content weekly, there’s so much coming to the streamer this month that a binge-watch release is possible. And you’ll certainly want to make the three hours available to binge-watch this show.

Granite Harbour follows Lance Corporal Davis Lindo. He is fresh out of his time with the Royal Military Police and looking for a career on civvy street. He wanted to join Scotland Yard as a detective, but life has other plans. He’s sent to Aberdeen instead, and quickly finds himself in the middle of a high-profile case. A local oil tycoon has turned up dead under some rather mysterious circumstances. Now Davis and his partner Bart need to get to the bottom of it all while the higher ups push to have this wrapped as fast as possible.
