Chicago PD Season 10 DVD release date confirmed for September 2023

Chicago PD was a big year for the long-running procedural drama. Now fans know when it will come out on DVD!

Season 10 was a season of change for Chicago PD as it began with Voight leading the team against a ruthless gangster to avenge a murdered CI. Episode 3 was a huge one as Halstead got close to a former Marine tied up in a series of robberies. That man died, and Halstead ended up killing the gang leader. Rather than cover it up, Halstead quit the force to reenlist in the Marines, meaning Jesse Lee Soffer was gone from the series.

That had Benjamin Levy Aguilar upgraded to a regular as Officer Dante Torres, the new member of the team. Subplots involved Upton having trouble adjusting to her husband gone, Burgess and Rusek adapting to an odd family life while Burgess overcame trauma from her shooting a while ago and Atwater reconnecting with his family.

The season also had the landmark 200th episode of the series and a shocking finale of Ruzek on a dangerous undercover assignment. This would lead to a big Season 11, but, like all network shows, it’s delayed due to the various strikes hitting Hollywood. At least fans know when Season 10 comes to DVD.

When does Chicago PD Season 10 come on DVD?

Season 10 is due to hit DVD on Tuesday, Sept. 12. Normally, this would be leading into Season 11, but that’s delayed, so this will be the only Chicago PD media available this fall.

There’s no word on extras, as these sets tend to be light on any special features. One would think there’d be something to mark the 200th episode, but it seems the five-disc set only includes all 22 Season 10 episodes and nothing else.

So while it’s light on extras, at least Chicago PD Season 10 will be a fun addition for fans to add to their library for the show.
