FBI: International Season 3 is not coming to CBS in August 2023
We need to know if everyone made it out of the building alive. The bad news is we still have to wait for answers in FBI: International Season 3.
FBI: International Season 2 ended in the most explosive way possible. Literally. Raines ran toward the building as he realized that there was trouble. Forrester and the rest of the team (except Tank!) were inside the building at the time of the explosion. The only character we know who isn’t hurt is Tank. He was a good boy and stayed away.
Now we need answers, but we knew it was going to be a summer of stress. Even under normal circumstances, we wouldn’t expect the new season to arrive in August. Big broadcast shows take the summer off. However, this break is going to be a lot longer than normal.
When will FBI: International Season 3 premiere on CBS?
CBS initially wanted to see all its normal fall shows return in the fall. That included FBI: International, which was set to return on Tuesdays at 9/8c.
At the time of the May Upfronts, the writers strike had just started. There was time to get to a fair agreement and get the writers back in their rooms for fall starts. Then the strike went on longer, and then the actors joined in. CBS has had to rework its fall schedule, and now FBI: International is not on the list.
Instead, we’ll get FBI True on Tuesdays at 9/8c. This is a Paramount+ docuseries that looks into the real FBI cases. There will be reruns of FBI afterward, but it’s not clear if it’s just the OG series or if we’ll see reruns of International and Most Wanted as well.
Don’t expect FBI: International Season 3 to premiere until January 2024 at the earliest. We’ll get more of an idea of when it could arrive once the strike action comes to an end.
FBI: International is available to stream on Paramount+.
