Nathaniel Arcand took on the role of Clinton Skye, brother-in-law to team leader Jess LaCroix. Will we see him return in FBI: Most Wanted Season 5?

FBI: Most Wanted is one of those shows that has seen a large cast turnover in a short space of time. The first of the changes was Nathaniel Arcand leaving during the second season. At first, it was only supposed to be temporary. Then we learned that he wouldn’t be back at all during the third season.

It’s not clear exactly why Arcand left the series. He was involved in some theatrical work, which did limit his appearances in the second season. That was why Clinton was written out quietly. It seems like there was the intention to return. However, the pandemic may have put a stop to that as there were issues with travel between his native Canada and the U.S.

For Clinton, he just seemed to disappear from the thoughts of everyone, including Jess LaCroix. The show even phased out everything to do with Jess’s in-laws, with the storyline being that they moved away.

Will Nathaniel Arcand be in FBI: Most Wanted Season 5?

It’s highly unlikely that we’ll see Nathaniel Arcand back on the show. At this point, there is simply no reason to bring Clinton Skye back. With Jess’s death and Clinton’s niece Tali moving away, there doesn’t seem to be anything that would bring him back to the area. It would just be nice to really get an understanding of what happened to Clinton in the universe and why nobody seems to care that he’s gone.

Of course, never say “never.” Just at this point, it doesn’t make a lot of sense to bring him back. There is an opening on the team, though. Alexa Davalos is leaving the series—not her choice—and that means an empty spot to fill. Who better than someone we already know?
