We have to wait a little longer to find out if Ruzek will live or not. When will Chicago PD Season 11 premiere on NBC? Here’s what we know.
We would love to know Adam Ruzek’s fate in Chicago PD. Of course, we’re sure that he will survive, but we need to see it play out. The bad news is we won’t get to see that just yet.
Fall TV is just weeks away, but there are a few shows missing from the schedule. We will not see Chicago PD Season 11 premiere. That’s okay; we only have to wait a month, right? After all, there are shows like Quantum Leap and Magnum PI returning in October.
This is where we have some more bad news. We don’t know when the new season will premiere.
When will Chicago PD Season 11 premiere on NBC?
The Peacock network wanted to bring the Dick Wolf shows back in the fall. We expected to see a One Chicago lineup on Wednesdays and then a Law & Order lineup on Thursdays. Things changed in July when the actors joined the writers on strike. It was clear production wouldn’t start up in time for a fall start.
The unions are still on strike. While we had hoped for a January 2024 premiere date, that’s now starting to look unlikely. We’re not blaming the striking workers for this. It’s time for the networks to take a hit to their profits and CEO salaries and pay those creating the content what they’re worth.
We’ll be sure to keep an eye on the strike action. All we know right now is that we won’t see the show until 2024, and we will see a much shorter season than originally planned.
Chicago PD is available to stream on Peacock.
