The fall is here, and it means the return of our favorite shows, right? What’s going on with the CBS schedule? When will FBI Season 6 premiere?
We are more than ready for the return of our favorite TV shows. September is here, and that means the return of fall TV. We’re ready for the broadcast networks to get back to some normality.
There’s some bad news, though. If you look at the schedule, you’ll see that FBI Season 6 is not on CBS this month. What’s going on? Will we have to wait an extra month? That is rare on CBS, but happens with the odd show. Well, there is a lot of bad news to come.
When will FBI Season 6 premiere on CBS?
Despite initially wanting the series to be on the fall schedule, CBS had to change things in the summer. FBI was supposed to kick off a night of Dick Wolf drama on Tuesdays on CBS, but then the actors joined the writers on strike. With production delayed, the return date of all our favorite shows has been delayed.
We’re now not going to see FBI Season 6 until January 2024 at the earliest. And at this rate, there is no guarantee that we’ll get it in January. We could have to wait until the spring. That’s going to severely impact the episode count of the show. If the unions are still on strike after Labor Day Weekend, we may not even see 13 episodes to the season.
The good news is we’ll get the New York field office at work during the fall with some reruns. Tuesday nights will see FBI True air (it’s on Paramount+ right now) and then reruns of FBI at the end of the night.
FBI is available to stream on Paramount+.
