FBI: International Season 3 not coming to CBS in September 2023
It’s September, and that means it’s time for fall TV. We’re ready to see FBI: International Season 3, but there is a lot of bad news.
Let’s start this with some good news. FBI: International Season 3 is still happening. There’s been a lack of news about the show, but that’s not because CBS has decided to cancel it. The lack of news links to why the series isn’t arriving in September.
That’s right. Despite the series being a popular show on the network, it will not be part of the September lineup. Sometimes, we have seen fall shows held until the beginning of October, but that isn’t the case here, either.
When will FBI: International Season 3 premiere on CBS?
We won’t get the series at all in the fall. That’s not because of the performance last season. If you look at the broadcast networks as a whole, you’ll see that very few of the usual suspects are on the list of September and October premieres.
This is all due to the current strike action. The writers went on strike in May and the actors followed in July. As much as CBS wanted a normal fall, it was clear in July that that wasn’t going to be possible. CBS has to bring a strike-proof fall, which includes acquisitions from streaming platforms and unscripted shows.
When will we see the Fly Team return? The earliest is in January 2024, but we’re getting to a point where that may not be possible. Filming needs to start soon, and the WGA and SAG-AFTRA unions are still negotiating with the studios—the studios really didn’t negotiate in good faith to start with.
We’ll be sure to keep an eye on all things strike related to get an idea as to when we could see this season.
FBI: International is available to stream on Paramount+.
