The Equalizer Season 4 is not coming to CBS in September 2023
Queen Latifah slays as Robyn McCall in The Equalizer reboot. When will The Equalizer Season 4 premiere on CBS to bring us more action?
Fall is almost upon us. You’re already likely enjoying your pumpkin spice lattes and you’re getting ready for some pumpkin adventures. Now all you need is your favorite TV shows back on your screens.
We’ve become used to seeing Queen Latifah take names and gain justice in the fall. While The Equalizer Season 4 isn’t on the list of September shows, we only have to wait until October, right? After all, we have seen some CBS shows pushed to the start of October in the past. Sadly, that is not the case.
When will The Equalizer Season 4 come to CBS?
The good news is that The Equalizer Season 4 is still happening. The bad news is that, like many other scripted shows, the series is stuck in limbo. The current strike action in Hollywood has delayed production to the point where it can’t arrive this fall. CBS wanted a regular fall with the Queen Latifah series on Sundays, but that was all changed in July when the actors went on strike.
The earliest we’ll get to see the season is in January 2024, but there is no guarantee of this. In fact, with it likely still being a Sunday show, we’ll probably see it return in February after the Super Bowl. A date is sure to be set closer to the time, and we’ll know more once production starts back up. We’re just waiting gon a fair deal for actors and writers.
For now, you’ll have to head to theaters. The Equalizer 3 starring Denzel Washington as Robert McCall is now out to watch.
The Equalizer is available to stream on Paramount+.
