Ready for more Elliot Stabler? Of course you are. The bad news is Stabler isn’t ready for us. When will Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4 premiere?

We would love to see more of Christopher Meloni on our screen. Law & Order: Organized Crime has been a great way to bring Stabler back, offering us some hope of Bensler finally happening. The bad news is that Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4 is not coming to NBC just yet.

It is nowhere on the list of premieres in September, despite fall TV coming back this month. There are a few NBC premieres happening in October, though, so will the show return then? Sadly not. This is not a show coming back in 2023.

When will Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4 coming to NBC?

While the delay for a lot of scripted shows has been the current strike action, that’s not fully the case with this series. Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4 was not planned for a 2023 release. When NBC announced its initial plans for May, the Chris Meloni series was not on the schedule. Instead, the new series Found was in the 10 p.m. ET/PT timeslot on Thursdays.

Organized Crime has been cut to just 13 episodes. This will mean that we’ll see all the characters in each of the episodes while the other NBC Dick Wolf shows would see characters missing here and there. This could all change with the strike action, though.

We’re getting close to when 13 episodes isn’t going to be possible. We could end up seeing some 10-episode seasons for this year, and then we’ll need to see what NBC wants to do for the next year. This current strike action is going to have a huge impact on all shows.

Law & Order: Organized Crime is now available to stream on Peacock.
