CBS’s fall schedule has changed a little with the addition of NCIS: Sydney. When will the new series premiere on the network?
This fall is looking very different. None of the usual suspects are on the schedule, and that’s all due to the current strike action affecting all broadcast networks and streamers. The WGA and SAG-AFTRA are on strike, and all production has come to a halt.
There are some new shows heading our way, though. CBS has a new NCIS spin-off series, set in Sydney, Australia. Just like the other spin-offs, the title of the show gives away the location, but that doesn’t stop us from being excited to see it all play out.
The bad news is that it won’t arrive this month. This is a later-fall release, and here are all the details we have.
When will NCIS: Sydney premiere on CBS?
The series is going to air in Australia first. That’s only fair since it was produced there. The show will air starting on Friday, Nov. 10 on Paramount+ Australia.
What about in the United States? We only have to wait three extra days. The series premiere will air on Monday, Nov. 13 at 10/9c on CBS. Yes, that is a problematic timeslot, but it’s coming off NCIS reruns, which will hopefully help get viewers to it.
The episode will then air on Paramount+ the following day. That’s the streaming home for the series. We’ll get episodes each Monday, although it’s not clear if there will be a midseason break at any point. The season only has eight episodes, but that would run into the Christmas season when live ratings take a hit.
It will be on Paramount+ in other locations, but no dates have been given yet.
