Based on the book by B.E. Jones, Wilderness focuses on Liv (Jenna Coleman) and Will (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) as they take a vacation across America’s National Parks. However, it’s no romantic trip; Will is trying to make up for his affair with colleague Cara (Ashley Benson).
When Liv realizes Will is still carrying on the affair, she decides to use the vacation as a way to arrange an “accident” for him. Now, across two weeks and a few thousand miles of forest, the pair engage in a twisted game.
The series appears to mix the trip with flashbacks to Liv, Will and Cara’s lives, and what appears to be flash-forwards to the aftermath of the trip. This fantastic thriller looks ready to put fans on a wild ride for one woman’s quest for a perfect life.

The six-episode series will drop on Friday, Sept. 15 on Prime Video. It’s unclear yet if it will be a binge release or weekly installments.
