Forrester and the team have been left with their lives on the line. Assuming he gets out alive, what’s next for him in FBI: International Season 3?
Forrester was put through the wringer during FBI: International Season 2. He was given some assignments away from the team, with this written in to allow Luke Kleintank to take some parental leave after his wife gave birth to their son. This creative choice also allowed for Forrester’s position as team leader to be put on the line.
In the end, Forrester proved that he was in the right place. The team works well with him in charge, and that’s the way it will stay.
Well, that’s the way the FBI wants it for now. Others have other opinions, and the end of FBI: International Season 2 saw the entire building explode with everyone but Raines and Tank inside.
Will Forrester survive in FBI: International Season 3?
Eyes will first be on whether the agent in charge of the Fly Team is even going to make it out alive. We can’t see Kleintank coming out of the series just yet. There’s be no word on anyone leaving. Granted, the writers hadn’t started writing the third season before the WGA strike started, but there would have likely been conversations about who would survive the explosion and who wouldn’t.
Forrester will likely survive, and potentially with some minor injuries. The focus is likely to be on the aftermath. We’re sure that one death will happen. Otherwise, that ending will be extremely anticlimactic. Forrester is sure to feel the guilt of not realizing what was going on in the building sooner.
This could help to rekindle a romance between Forrester and Kellett. Back in the first season, it was an injury to Kellett that made Forrester decide that he would be open about his relationship with her. Could another near-death experience lead to him admitting that he still has feelings for her and wants to be with her again?
