How many episodes are in The Continental on Peacock?
Peacock is about to unleash The Continental: From the World of John Wick to expand on the hit movies! But just how many episodes will the series have? Find out here!
In 2014, John Wick took the movie world by storm. Keanu Reeves played the title role of a man attacked by some Russian mobsters. Too late, they realize John Wick is a legendarily feared former assassin out for blood.
The movie was a hit that spawned three sequels, each wilder than the previous one. Now, The Continental takes place at the New York City branch of the hotel chain that acts as secret safe havens for the assassin society hiding from sight of the world. It’s set in the 1970s and shows how Winston Scott (played by Ian McShane in the movies) first joins The Continental and gets used to this world and its dangers. Winston also has to deal with his brother running afoul of the society and putting Winston in the middle of a dangerous fight.
That sounds pretty fun, but just how many episodes are in this daring series?
The Continental: From The World of John Wick episode schedule
The series will be made up of only three episodes, but each is timed to 90 minutes. That makes it the equivalent of a six-episode series, with each episode acting like a mini-movie, so it will feel even more exciting.
- Sept. 22: Episode 1, “Brothers In Arms – Night 1”
- Sept. 29: Episode 2, “Loyalty to the Master – Night 2”
- Oct. 6: Episode 3, “Theater of Pain – Night 3”
The episode titles indicate the series takes place over a three-night span. The weekly installments make it a short run, although the length of each episode means it will be more epic than a standard streaming show.
With such high-powered action being promised as well as delving into the world of John Wick, The Continental promises to feel much bigger than its three episodes for a great run.
It will stream on Prime Video outside of the United States.
The Continental: From the World of John Wick premieres on Friday, Sept. 22 on Peacock.
