With the writers strike coming to an end, there is a look at when our favorite shows will return. When can we expect FBI Season 6?
There are a lot of eyes on what’s to come in the next few months. Throughout the summer, we’ve had to deal with the strike action going on in the industry. The WGA and SAG-AFTRA joined forces as they went on strike to get better deals.
It’s worked, and now the writers have a deal with the unions. It’s only a matter of time before the actors get a fair deal, too. Of course, this means that we’re curious about when our favorite shows will return.
Don’t expect to see FBI Season 6 this month. In fact, don’t expect to see the series return at all in 2023. However, we could be a step closer to getting the series back.
When will FBI Season 6 premiere on CBS?
The earliest we can expect the show to return is January 2024, but I wouldn’t expect it then. While the writers can get back to work, there is still a hold-up in the production industry. We’re still waiting for the actors to go back, which is when production and post-production to start up again. Until that happens, it’s much harder to work out when the series will return.
Even if the strike action came to an end for the actors this month, they wouldn’t be able to start work until there are enough episodes written. That means we’re looking at November as a start date for the actors, and that gets us close to Thanksgiving and Christmas, when the actors tend to take some time off.
They could film for a little longer and have a shorter winter break, but that likely still won’t mean a January 2024 premiere date. Instead, we’re potentially looking at around March 2024 for FBI Season 6 to premiere.
FBI is available to stream on Paramount+.
