NBC’s new series Found got off to an intriguing start. We got a chance to meet the characters, and it turns out that they all have something traumatic that happened to them in the past. They’re trying to turn something bad into something good, but that’s not going to stop them from finding the missing people in their lives or protecting themselves from the past.

Gabi, on the other hand, has a dark secret. She has a man chained up in her basement, and this man is helping her get to the bottom of the case. This man, played by Mark-Paul Gosselaar, is known as “Sir,” and is the man who abducted Gabi at a young age.

Now it’s time to break down the Found spoilers so we know what to expect in the new episode.

Found spoilers: 1×02 promo

The promo of the episode gives us a look at Gabi’s world crashing down around her. She has kept “Sir” in her basement for seven months, but it is only a matter of time before her secret comes out. He knows that Gabi has someone in her life, and he may be able to get out of the basement very soon.

It’s not likely that this promo is everything for the second episode. We’ll likely see a lot of what played out happen throughout the course of the season. After all, the surprise of Sir being in the basement seems pointless if it comes to an end after one episode.

Found spoilers: 1×02 synopsis

The synopsis tells us of the case that the team will need to figure out. Jinny Cole is a personal escort who goes missing by her apartment. Of course, personal escorts tend to fall through the cracks, but it looks like this case is one that is coming directly to them.

Meanwhile, Gabi’s life may start to unravel before her. Joy-Ann Reid is a news anchor who wants to launch a nationwide search for “Sir” after finding out that he’s missing. Gabi wouldn’t want her secret to get out, would she?
