FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 is not coming to CBS in October 2023
We’re more than ready to see what’s in store for the Fugitive Task Force already. When will FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 premiere on CBS?
The fourth season of FBI: Most Wanted ended with the big story of the season wrapped up. Remy Scott got to the bottom of the mystery of who killed his brother. He also learned that he has a nephew, giving him a new family member to meet. Of course, all this has led to him questioning the FBI and the authorities.
We know Season 5 is going to happen. We also know that it won’t include Alexa Davalos. That decision was made before the strike action but only announced to the fans during the summer. We have no idea who could take Kristen Gaines’s place on the team, but it is disappointing to not get more of her story in the show.
When will FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 premiere? After all, it’s not coming in October. This isn’t a show we’ll get this fall. What’s going on?
When will FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 premiere on CBS?
CBS did want the series to arrive in the fall, but that couldn’t happen due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike. Well, there is a little bit of good news. The WGA strike has come to an end, which means the writers will be able to start working on the new season.
What about the SAG-AFTRA strike? This isn’t at an end yet, but negotiations have started. Hopefully, the WGA deal will help to set the tone for those negotiations. Once that strike has ended, production can start up. There is a chance that the strike could end before the end of October, allowing production to start as soon as scripts are ready.
This could mean a March 2024 premiere date for the season. It might be difficult to get something sooner than that. However, this isn’t a show that needs a lot of CGI in the post-production work, so it could allow for an earlier release.
FBI: Most Wanted is available to stream on Paramount+.
