Mr. Monk’s Last Case: A Monk Movie will see Tony Shalhoub return as the titular character. He is not the only returning face to the series. Ted Levine, Traylor Howard, Melora Hardin, Hector Elizondo, and Jason Gray-Stanford will also return.

We don’t have any details about what that is, but the fact that the synopsis also made it clear that Molly is a journalist, it could be something connected to her work. The movie will include elements of the changing world we live in now, modernizing the series in a way.
