NBC’s Found is just two episodes in, and we already have a few intriguing answers to questions. One is why Bella became the second victim.

With just two episodes, we’ve already found out a little about Gabi’s time as Sir’s prisoner. In the second episode, we get a flashback to eight days before she was able to escape. This marks a year since Sir had held her captive, and up to this point, she has been on her own.

Sir realizes that Gabi is lonely. She can’t call her dad, but he will do something to help alleviate things. This is where Bella comes into the story.

Why Sir kidnapped Bella on Found

Realizing that Gabi needed someone else with her, Sir decided to head out and look for someone else to kidnap. He’d already done it once. Why not do it again? This is why he ended up bringing Bella into the house.

It’s not yet clear if Gabi knows why Sir did what he did. I’m not saying that in a victim-blaming way. It was never Gabi’s fault that Sir decided to kidnap Bella for Gabi to have someone to talk to. However, it is possible that Gabi could look at the situation and view it that way.

Bella has since changed her name to Lacey. The girl had to develop a whole new identity because as Sir went into hiding, Bella felt like she couldn’t even walk down the street during the day worrying that Sir would come after her again.

It seems like it’s only a matter of time before Lacey realizes the truth about what Gabi has done for the last seven months. It’s going to be exciting to see how all that plays out, especially with the way Lacey looks up to Gabi.
