The Spencer Sisters is finally getting our title characters into the private eye business! Here are all The Spencer Sisters spoilers for Episode 3 of The CW series!
After the pilot established the setup for the new Canadian mystery show, Episode 2 built on it more. When the fiancee of a CEO friend of Victoria’s was found drowned, Victoria wanted to help. She talked Darby into aiding, claiming the woman was going to pay them $10,000 for the job. Darby wasn’t happy when she found out Victoria was the one paying her.
Despite that, the pair managed to handle the case and Darby was forced to acknowledge a lot of her issues with Victoria stemmed from how they had more in common than Darby wanted to admit.
At the end of the episode, Darby had decided to stay in town and Victoria was inspired to write again. She also hit upon them starting their own detective agency, using the name “Spencer Sisters” as she thought it rolled off the tongue better.
So it was a good way to advance the plotlines and push the unique mother-daughter bond. So what can viewers expect for Episode 3?
The Spencer Sisters spoilers: What to expect in Season 1 Episode 3
“The Coder’s Calamity” has the Spencers handling their first case for the agency, helping recover some stolen property from some tech developers. It also sounds like the pair are having issues sharing work and living space, even in Victoria’s plush mansion.
"“Darby (Stacey Farber) and Victoria (Lea Thompson) investigate the stolen intellectual property for a trio of Silicon Valley-style tech developers. Meanwhile, nerves fray as the mother-daughter duo trip over each other in their shared work and living space.”"
It seems like the partnership is off to a rocky start, no surprise, given Victoria and Darby still have a few decades of family issues to overcome. Daby is still going to handle living in the town and seeing former flame Lucas engaged to another woman.
It should still be fun watching the “Sisters” embark on their new careers to spark this CW show.
The Spencer Sisters airs on Wednesdays at 9/8c on the CW. Catch up on The CW App.
