The Spencer Sisters has another top episode this week to continue its fun mystery-comedy vibe! Here are The Spencer Sisters spoilers for Season 1, Episode 4.
The latest episode of the CW series had Darby (Stacey Farber) and Victoria (Lea Thompson) continuing to try and make their new detective agency partnership work. It was tricky as the ladies were divided on everything from where to set up their offices to the annoying morning habits each had.
That complicated a case of a member of a tech company attacked in her home. The ladies had to go through various ups and downs before discovering the woman had faked the attack on herself as a scheme to sell the company’s data collection program to a big company. Only the woman realized the company wanted to use the program to illegally collect data, with the Spencers managing to steal the hard drive back.
It did give more screen time to the Spencers’ hacker friend Alistar as Darby also dealt with her friendship with old flame Lucas. While Victoria clearly pushes for Darby to take a shot at the engaged man, Darby is still putting her life together without more romantic complications.
The show is clicking well with its mix of mystery and comedy for a new ep this week.
The Spencers Sisters spoilers for Season 1, Episode 4
“The Restauranteur’s Ruin” looks a little more light-hearted for the Spencers as they have to aid a local bistro owner in a challenge to his reputation and restaurant.
"“When local bistro owner Antonio’s professional reputation is targeted, he seeks out Darby and Victoria’s investigative services.”"
While the plotline sounds light-hearted, the show always rests on how the Spencers get along and hopefully are able to overcome more differences in this case. Hopefully, we also broaden the supporting cast and show more of Darby settling into town as she and Victoria continue to make The Spencer Sisters a nice addition to the CW block.
