That’s about to change. Lawmen: Bass Reeves will take a look at the man’s life and career. It’s a chance to see where it all started and why he chose a career that would help to bring justice to a lawless part of the country. We also get to see his life as a father and a husband, and what his work did to his wife and children.

This is a Paramount+ series, which will tell you everything you need to know about the release schedule. This is coming out on a weekly basis, so you’ll want to know the episode count so you have an idea as to when the finale will air.
This series has eight episodes. The first two episodes will drop at the same time on Sunday, Nov. 5. After that, the episodes will release weekly, with the finale set to air on Sunday, Dec. 17. Paramount+ doesn’t tend to do weeks off here and there, and it wouldn’t make sense this time anyway with the following Sunday being Christmas Eve.
This is set to be limited series of sorts. It could turn into an anthology series if Paramount+ renews it. Bass Reeves’s story is set to come to an end within these eight episodes, and then the focus will move onto another great lawman.
