Fall TV has not been the same, and it’s not going to be anything like normal for some time. When will FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 premiere on CBS?

We knew fall was going to look a little different when the writers went on strike. Then the actors joined the strike, and we just knew that the chances of getting any of our usual shows back in fall was near impossible.

That doesn’t stop us from checking up on the show. The bad news is FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 is not heading to CBS in November, and we’re still not expecting to get it in 2023 at all. At least this series didn’t end on a cliffhanger, so we don’t have any major concerns for characters, but we do know that one will not return. Alexa Davalos’s Gaines is not coming back.

When will FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 premiere on CBS?

This is where we have some more bad news. The SAG-AFTRA strike action is still going on. This is preventing production from happening. While the writers are back at work, there will be nothing filmed from the scripts that are ready just yet. It’s not clear when the strike action will come to an end just yet.

This does mean that we’re looking at March 2024 as being when the show is more likely to come back. It seems a little impossible that FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 can come out any earlier than that. Never say “never,” but it just looks a little impossible. We’ll be sure to keep an eye on how the strike goes. Once it comes to an end, we’ll have a better idea of when we could see the show return.
