Accused Season 2 is not coming to FOX in November 2023
All eyes are on when our favorite shows will return, and Accused Season 2 is one of those on our list. When could we see it premiere on FOX?
While a lot of crime dramas focus on catching the criminals, Accused offered us something different. We started with the person already caught and on trial. From there, we had to find out what they did, why they were on trial, and whether they’d be found guilty or innocent—or negligent in some cases.
The series certainly made us watch our bias. It also brought up some intriguing storylines in its anthology layout. Hearing that it was renewed for a second season was great news.
Now we just want to know when we’ll get to watch the season. While Accused Season 2 is happening, it isn’t happening yet. We won’t get to see it in 2023 at all.
When will Accused Season 2 come to FOX?
It’s not clear if FOX wanted to bring the show back in the fall or not. FOX opted not to release a schedule at the May Upfronts. The WGA strike had just started and FOX wanted to see how things would play out first. As soon as the SAG-AFTRA strike started, a strike-friendly schedule was released.
It is possible that this series was going to be held for the midseason, though. After all, the first season premiered in January 2023.
That being said, the return is still likely later than FOX wanted. The midseason usually starts in January or each year, and there’s little chance that we’ll get the second season then. The SAG-AFTRA strike is still going on, so production on scripts that will be being written now can’t happen. The earliest we’re looking at the season arriving on FOX is March 2024.
Accused is available to stream on Hulu.
