Eyes are on when our favorite shows will be back. This has certainly been a long hiatus, but when will it end with the Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4 premiere?

If there is one show we’re looking forward to seeing more of, it’s Law & Order: Organized Crime. We’ve loved having Stabler back in the action, and now we’re just ready for Stabler and Benson to finally make it official. Fully official!

We hope it happens in Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4, but there is a bit of a wait for this series. It is not coming in November 2023. In fact, it’s not coming in 2023 at all, and that’s not just because of the strike action.

When is the Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4 premiere?

NBC opted to push this series to the midseason. The season will also only have 13 episodes. This is a cost-cutting measure as TV shows are getting too expensive to film compared to the revenue being brought in via the commercials. It did mean that with just 13 episodes, we would get all characters in all episodes unlike the other Dick Wolf shows.

However, the season order may need to be cut further. The strike action is still going on at the time of writing this. While writing can start with the WGA strike over, production can’t start while SAG-AFTRA is still on strike. That pushes back everything.

It could mean a much later start in the season than expected for Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4. This could mean a slightly shorter season at maybe 10 episodes instead of 13. We’ll have to wait and see depending on when the strike action ends and what the studios are able to do.

As of right now, we’re looking at March 2024 at the earliest for the season to premiere.
