Magnum PI has been on a good roll of episodes for the second half of Season 5. But is there a new episode of the show tonight, Wednesday, Nov. 8? Find out here!

Magnum PI has continued to air Part 2 of Season 5, which sadly will be the final episodes of the series. NBC canceled the show amid the ongoing strikes in Hollywood and it appears unlikely it can be revived once more by another network.

Thanks to how the series filmed its final ten episodes earlier in 2023, NBC is able to run them when almost all other network shows are silenced by the strikes. It’s been on a roll, but as it happens, Magnum PI won’t be broadcasting a new episode on Wednesday, Nov. 8.

The reason is that NBC is airing coverage of the third Republican Party primary debate along with other networks. This means both Magnum PI and Quantum Leap will not be airing new episodes on this night.

This is a good time to take a break as it happens right in the middle of the 10-episode run of Season 5, Part 2. Luckily, it’s just a one-week hiatus, as Magnum and the gang will be back on the case quickly enough.

When does Magnum PI Season 5 return with new episodes?

The series will return on Wednesday, Nov. 15, with Season 5, Episode 16, “Run With the Devil.” The plotline has Magnum and Higgins hired to track down an Amish teenager who’s gone missing in Hawaii.

However, the case gets complicated when the girl is shown taking part in a robbery, leading them to question if she’s really so innocent.

So fans of Magnum PI will have a bit of a break before the last five episodes of the series unfold for more action and excitement.

Magnum PI returns Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 10/9c on NBC. It streams the following day on Peacock.
