After a week off, Magnum PI is back with a new episode that kicks off the last run for the series! Here’s what to expect in Season 5 Episode 16!

Magnum PI had to take last week off due to NBC’s coverage of the Republican Primary Debate. Luckily, it was just a one-week break and fit well happening directly in the middle of the season.

The last episode had Magnum and Higgins hired by a bunch of gamers to find a friend of theirs who had gone missing. Sadly, the search turned up the guy’s dead body with evidence he’d been forced to hack into a database.

The database was for a fertility clinic with the pair going undercover as a couple, which had Magnum wondering about the differences he and Higgins had in any potential kids. That was cut short by the discovery the hacker’s employer had him steal some embryos they could then ransom off.

The pair found a woman who appeared to be among those blackmailed. But it turned out she was actually the mastermind of the scheme, desperate to have a child. She was arrested as Magnum and Higgins accepted they just had different ideas on parenting, but that might make it more fun.

The subplot was Jin talking TC into helping him with an ex-partner. This being Jin, the whole thing turned into a debacle, from digging for treasure to an arrest before being settled.

So, after the break, what’s next for the team?

What to expect in Magnum PI Season 5, Episode 16

“Run With the Devil” has Magnum and Higgins tracking an Amish girl who ran off to Hawaii. However, the girl may be no innocent but tied in with a criminal gang.

"“Magnum and Higgins agree to help a teenage Amish boy who has traveled to Hawaii in search of his runaway sister; Rick sets out to find TC a date to the Marine Corps Ball.”"

It looks like the pair have to handle a tricky case to figure out what is going on with this girl. The subplot of TC and Rick should be interesting, as Rick playing matchmaker can only end in a mess.

So this will begin the last five episodes of Magnum PI, but hopefully a good final run for fans.
