We finally know when the Reagan family dinners will commence. CBS has announced the Blue Bloods Season 14 premiere is coming earlier than expected. Here’s when you can see it.
Like all network shows, Blue Bloods was hit hard by the combination of the WGA and SAG strikes. It curtailed the fall 2023 season with concerns growing that there may not be any Blue Bloods at all until the fall of 2024.
Thankfully, the SAG strike is finally settled and the networks are racing to put shows up. Blue Bloods is obviously among them, as the series remains one of CBS’s biggest hits. Its production looks to start in late November, after Thanksgiving, with CBS probably pushing to get as many episodes in the can before the Christmas break.
Now, however, fans know when it will hit, and it’s sooner than some expected!
When does Blue Bloods Season 14 premiere?
CBS was the first network to announce its new 2023-24 slate, which has most of its shows coming back in mid-February after the Super Bowl.
That includes Blue Bloods, as the series premieres on Friday, Feb. 16. The show’s official Twitter feed confirmed the news with the note, “We’re expecting you.” It’s expected the season will only contain 13 episodes but the exact count hasn’t been confirmed yet.
The whole cast should be back at it with not much word on plotlines. Season 13 did end with a few developments like Erin deciding not to run for District Attorney but as usual, no big cliffhanger. But it’s still terrific news for the series as Blue Bloods will finally have its big debut in February and fans are ecstatic to see the Reagans back on the job.
Blue Bloods Season 14 premieres on Friday, Feb. 16 at 10/9c on CBS. Catch up the following day on Paramount+.
