FBI fans finally know when the hit CBS drama is back for Season 6. With the strikes settled, CBS has announced the premiere dates, and that includes FBI Season 6.

FBI has been among CBS’s biggest successes, with the spin-offs FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International following in its footsteps. However, its intrepid agents had to face an enemy more daunting than any terrorist: The combination of the WGA and SAG strikes crippling Hollywood over the summer.

While the WGA strike was settled in September, the SAG strike dragged on through early November, effectively cutting the 2023-24 TV season in half. There were even worries if a deal couldn’t be made by Thanksgiving, then there would be no network TV until fall 2024.

Thankfully, a deal was made and CBS has been fast-tracking the production of shows. FBI is expected to get to work right after Thanksgiving and do as much as they can before Christmas. CBS is so confident that they’ve already set the premiere date for Season 6.

When is FBI Season 6 coming to CBS?

As part of a huge announcement of their adjusted 2023-24 slate, CBS announced that FBI Season 6 will premiere on Tuesday, Feb.. 13. As usual, it will be followed by FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted.

Season 5 ended on an emotional note as Scola (John Boyd) saw girlfriend Nina (Shantel VanSanten) through a tough birth. Season 6 will likely see Scola balancing his job with being a father while Maggie (Missy Peregrym) is probably still feeling the effects of her near-death experience in Season 4.

The season will likely run about 13 episodes, although CBS hasn’t confirmed that yet. But premiering the week after the Super Bowl (which is also on CBS) and in time for the traditional February sweeps is a good move.

So it’s not too long of a wait for fans to see the intrepid FBI agents back on the job and ready for more action once more.
