When will Alert: Missing Persons Unit Season 2 premiere on FOX?

The networks are starting to announce their new year plans. When could we see Alert: Missing Persons Unit Season 2 come to FOX?

With the dual strike action in the industry at an end, it’s time for productions to start back up. We know that Alert: Missing Persons Unit is set to be one of the first productions starting back up after Thanksgiving. This is also a series that doesn’t take too long in post-production, especially compared to those that require a lot of CGI work.

FOX has finally made decisions for its midseason return. This includes when we’ll get to see new episodes of the missing persons drama.

Alert: Missing Persons Unit Season 2 potential premiere date

While NBC has set some January premiere dates, both ABC and CBS are waiting until after the Super Bowl. We did think that FOX would hold back until February to bring shows back. The network has been a little mixed, but the scripted shows are being held back later than the other big networks.

Alert: Missing Persons Unit Season 2 will premiere on Tuesday, March 5. The episodes will air at 9 p.m. ET/PT after new episodes of The Cleaning Lady.

Eyes are also on the episode count. The first season only had 10 episodes. We could see the same for the second season, and that may have been the plan all along. With the late premiere date, we are certainly looking at the show only having 10 episodes. There shouldn’t be the need for a break with 10 episodes and this late return date. The finale will be able to comfortably air in May 2024.

One show that is missing from the return dates is fellow sophomore series Accused. We’ll certainly keep an eye on that.
