Law & Order: Organized Crime fans finally know when Season 4 debuts on NBC. Find out the earlier-than-expected premiere date for Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4.

NBC, like other networks, was hit hard by the combined WGA and SAG strikes that delayed the fall 2024 TV season. Ironically, one show not as affected was Law & Order: Organized Crime, as the series had already been confirmed as being delayed for a 13-episode season in 2024.

Season 3 ended with a crossover with Law & Order: SVU, where Whelan died after a gunfight, affecting Jet. Stabler was given a new assignment, which was a good way to leave things off for a while.

So unlike other shows, Law & Order: Organized Crime hasn’t been massively delayed, and with the strikes settled, production is expected to begin in late December. That seems confirmed by NBC announcing the show will be returning sooner than expected.

When is Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4 premiering?

Announcing their revised 2024 winter slate, NBC confirmed that Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4 will premiere on Thursday, Jan. 18, once more anchoring a night with Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU.

So far, there’s no word on any significant cast changes, although it seems that the season will involve Stabler reuniting with two of his estranged brothers. There’s also no word if the series will have an overreaching story arc like past seasons or stand-alone episodes.

It’s still expected the season will run 13 episodes, but the earlier date is interesting as ABC and CBS won’t be airing their seasons until mid-February. This indicates NBC is pushing production of this show to meet the date.

Some more announcements will likely come on the storyline and cast members, but fans can be sure that mid-January will finally have Stabler and the squad back on their exciting cases.

Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4 premieres on Thursday, Jan. 18 at 10/9c on NBC. Episodes stream on Peacock the following day.
